About Us

My name is Arend Thibodeau, I am a Registered Master Maine guide, and I have spent much of my life hiking through the woods and trudging through knee-deep snow in search of the peace of mind that only the Maine wilderness can bring.

Whether it is trying my luck with the brookies in the Allagash at springtime, or sitting on the top of a beech ridge with my bow in October, I have always felt a deep connection with the Maine woods and am totally lost when I have to venture out into a big city like Saco or Bangor :)

I currently live in Hartland, Maine on a secluded lake with my wife, and 2 labs. I am 36 years old and make my living guiding, doing portrait and studio photography, and graphic arts/website design.

One of my greatest pleasures is being able to introduce other people to the Maine woods and to what Maine has to offer. Regardless of your specific desire, I can accomodate you and give you a memorable experience in the wilds of Maine. Hunting Bear over bait, ice fishing, fly fishing, bow hunting, camping, or wildlife watching with your camera, I can put together a custom package for you talored to your specific needs and requirements.
