Grouse and Woodcock hunts

Here at Great Moose Lake, we have some of the best grouse and woodcock cover in Central Maine. Many birds are flushed daily both with dogs and without. As a matter of fact, this is one of the few areas that even a hunter without a dog can be successful.

Our grouse and woodcock hunts are 3 day hunts and are $400.00 per person. This price includes guide service, lodging, transportation, housing for your dogs, and basic care of your game.
